We have told most of our family and friends that Peter will be doing his residency at Hanger (prosthetics/orthotics clinic) in Arizona, but now the plans have changed!! Peter was told there was a spot for him in AZ, but somehow things fell through. We found that out about a week ago and then we figured that we would end up in Sacramento or stay here since those were Peter's next choices. Well, we were surprised when Peter got a phone call from the head Manager of Hanger over all of Northern CA telling him that he will be doing his residency in San Mateo with Grant Wood, the Prosthetist that Peter did his volunteer work for last summer. Surprise surprise to everyone including us! So we are headed back to the Bay area this summer and look forward to being close to Grandma & Grandpa Fjeldsted (Can we hire you on as full time babysitters? Let us know what you charge :)
Peter had a great experience there last summer and we think this is a great opportunity for him to really expand his skills and education since the Hanger in San Mateo is considered the best in all of Northern CA. We aren't sure exactly how long we will be there. A year for sure and then Peter may have to committ longer. We still hope to end up in Arizona someday, but for now we are excited to begin a new adventure and trust that Lord is sending us where we need to be at this time in our lives.

First off, I didn't know you had a blog! Now I get to keep up better on your news! Second, you're coming back! I can't wait to tell my sisters, they will be so excited. I can't wait to meet Chloe!
