In honor of my Creative Writing class basically being over (I will really miss this class) I wanted to post one final poem (for now... meaning I probably will again I just don't know when). I am VERY excited about this poem for a few reasons. 1) It is about Chloe, and I love writing about Chloe. 2) The form on this poem was non-rhyming which made it fun and different for me. 3) My teacher gave this poem FIVE stars! She grades based on one plus to four pluses, and every once in a while if she really likes a poem she gives it five stars. So I was really happy about that. It was a great way to end the semester. Enjoy!
Chloe Sliding DownWisps of golden locks
sweep over eyes of
ocean blue. Pink lips
purse, contemplating
the climb. Tiny feet
take one step at a
time. Curious as
a cat, braver still,
she sits, and laughing
slides fearlessly down.
Landing tangled in
the sand, she giggles,
and toddles quickly
back to climb, so she
can slide down again.

I LOVE it! That seriously is so awesome. Her hair is getting so long and curly! How adorable!
She has realy curly hair! Ok, OK, I know Chloe is already betrothed to like 2 other babies, but it she were to marry Jackson they would have curly haired kids together! and we could be related!!!! I loved your poem too Amber! You should publish, maybe in your local newspaper, they pay for that! realy you should!
