Our Big Little Girl

So Chloe has reached 2 (well 2 1/2) new milestones recently. The first is that she knows how to give “kisses.” However, she is really stubborn about it and has to be in the right mood. She has never been a cuddler and most of the time she just giggles and grabs your face instead of kissing you. But the first time she did it I about fainted with happiness! Her second milestone is that she is saying a new word. I was feeding her one day and she took a bite, looked at me and said “Mom.” Not ma ma, just "Mom" like she was getting ready to ask me a question or something. Now I know she doesn’t really understand that I am actually correlated with that word, but still I was ecstatic all the same. I started screaming for Peter to come hear her and now she babbles it all the time. So instead of “da da” it goes something like “mom ma ma ma mom da da da da.” It makes me so happy, and sad that our baby girl is growing up so fast. So the ½ milestone is that she is starting to scoot around a bit, but she isn’t fully crawling (I am okay with that for the time being). She is quite the spunky little thing and every day Peter and I ask ourselves where she came from. We love her darling personality and her now two-teeth grin. We wish everyone could come visit so we can show her off!
