Birthday Girl

Chloe had a great birthday. She kept singing happy birthday over and over again, although I am not sure if she quite understood it was her birthday. I let her watch extra TV (her favorite thing in the world which I have to try and control), and she got to wear a "pretty dress," which she would also do every day if I let her.

We had a pretty normal day, and when Daddy got home the party began starting with FHE (family home evening) and then Elmo Cake and ice cream! I attempted this Elmo cake and pictures don't do justice to how horrible it was ha ha, but Chloe loved it so that is all that matters! She blew her two candles out before we finished the birthday song because she was so excited.

For her birthday Chloe got clothes from Grandma for her doll Susie, a doctor kit from Mommo, a book and dress from mom and dad and the big finale.... a princess chest with dress up clothes and accessories! We got it on black friday for an amazing deal and decided to save it for her birthday. I didn't know it at the time, but it was the RIGHT gift! Chloe loves the shoes, jewelery, purse, tiara and the princess dresses. She is all girl whether we like it or not! She dresses up and has me turn music on in her room so she can look at herself in the mirror and sing and dance. We love our little girl! HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHLOE!

I am shocked at how grown up Chloe is!! I didn't know it was possible, but I think she gets cuter and cuter everyday! Oh and I like your header picture!

Your cake turned out GREAT!! Chloe's hair has gotten so long. I can't believe how much she's grown up in a year. One year ago I was out there and she had just turned 1. Now she's already two. Was that the last time I saw you?? Scary. Time has completely gotten away from me. At the pace each year accelerates I don't know how I can stand to realize all these common daily "precious moments" will be gone and I'll be wondering where they went...
Guess I better update my own blog. To look at it, you'd think current was LAST February.

She is so grown UP! I can't believe how long her hair is either. She and Macie would get along great (at least until they started fighting over the jewelry!)since they both love girly things. Macie also loves fancy dresses and bracelets. Happy Birthday Chloe! I love the cake... I think you did a great job.
