April 2014

In April we enjoyed Conference Weekend

The first weekend in April is a special weekend where we essentially have "church" on TV. Our Prophet and other leaders speak to members of the LDS church all over the world. We were especially lucky this year because John and Trudy came to visit us that same weekend. We were able to go for a hike, eat out, and John got Peter a BBQ grill for his birthday. We had a great time!

The girls "intently" watching conference. I'm sure candy bingo had nothing to do with it ;)

We love Grandma & Grandpa!

We had a Yard Sale!
and it was a lot of work and we probably won't ever do it again....but it was a great experience and felt wonderful to get rid of so much extra stuff we don't really need.

We celebrated Easter with fabulous friends at a fabulous location near Zion's!

Egg Hunt!

Simon loves swinging!

During the week Amber and the kids took a little road trip to Orem to visit cousins. The kids rode bikes, had a picnic, tea party, and played their hearts out. Amber enjoyed quality sister time and a break from her usual routine!

It's so fun to be girls!

That big black thing behind the kids is our new vehicle. More to come on that next month when we have something special attached to the back.
Peter worked his usual Magic and while we were away he put together this Awning. We're so lucky to have him!

Chloe graduated from her music class. She performed "The Dinosaur Song" on her bells, "Bill Grogan's Goat" on the autoharp and a few other numbers with her class. She is so talented and we are proud of her hard work!

The biggest news of all this month...Simon got his first TWO teeth...at the same time...and I didn't even realize it until he bit my toe one day. He continues to be a happy, loving and adorable baby who has us all wrapped around his chubby fingers!
The teeth have just popped through so you can't see in this picture but this was the day we found them and we were both so happy for this milestone!

As always, we have had a month full of wonderful days, some harder days and some just mundane every day kind of days. I like to share the happy memorable moments and hope you enjoy sharing them with us. Here's to hoping May is as grand as April!

Amber
