Baby Chicks...And Baby Food!
March started out with four new additions to our family...respectively Dixie, Brownie, Beauty and Elvis. They were cute and little for about 2 weeks and now they are big....not as cute...but will be laying us eggs soon!
I also decided to make homemade baby food for Si. This took most of a Saturday afternoon, but was worth it! I cooked/baked the fruits and veggies, pureed them in a blender and froze them in ice cube trays for future use.

Happy Birthday Peter!
Peter was (sort of) happy to celebrate the big 33 this year! He requested Texas sheet cake (I insisted on 33 candles!) and new sandals for his birthday. I threw in the camping chair since we were overdue for some new ones.

Simon is such a joy to all of us! He learned to sit up on his own this month. While camping, he was definitely our "happiest" camper and slept better there than at home! He is such a boy. He growls and spits and sputters and grabs our faces in ferocious drool. It's wonderful. I love my boy!
Camping and Amber's Birthday
My birthday fell on a Saturday and Spring Break week for Chloe so we decided to go camping. It was a great decision! We invited two other couples and their children. There were 6 adults and 7 children aged six and under (all girls except two!) We camped on the AZ border near the Virgin River. We ate all kinds of goodies, hiked, played in the water, had a campfire and enjoyed ourselves way too much! We got home the evening of my birthday and my friend watched the kids while Peter and I went out to dinner. We brought home cupcakes to share with the girls. I don't have a lot of pictures, but I also got sandals and a camping chair for my bday....but the best part was camping! Enjoy all the pics!

A couple notes on the collage above. This is Mae and her BFF Annistyn. They go to school and church together and are two peas in a pod! We had to cross the cold river on our hike. Chloe found a "log" on our hike and was determined to make a boat with it to cross the river....it was a nice try :)

Cousins Came to Visit

My brother Andy came to visit with his adorable family. We went swimming and had a BBQ at the park where we got to go ice blocking down the grassy hill. The girls love their cousins!
