The Deal With Proposition 8

Okay... So Proposition 8 has been a very touchy subject and continues to be as the time to vote on it draws closer. I will be the first to admit that I am not very educated on the subject, let alone politics at all. If someone were to ask me who I wanted for President I would say none of the above. However, when it comes to prop 8 the choice to vote "yes" is easy. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, we have been encouraged by our Church leaders to support Proposition 8. That is all I need to know. The Prophet is the Lord's mouthpiece. When the Lord commands, do it. There is only black and white in the gospel. Either we are on the Lord's side or we aren't. This is about obedience and faith. If you are struggling with accepting Proposition 8 then pray for more obedience and faith.
