I’m in California to have the baby? A lot of people know this already, but I realized I never got around to posting about it! For insurance reasons (the new insurance in AZ won’t cover pregnancy until you’ve been with them for 12 months), we found a program in CA (I love CA) that allows us to have the baby very affordably. So, Chloe and I arrived at my in-laws in the bay area at the beginning of the month and we are here until baby number two decides to make her big debut!
It is VERY hard being away from Peter, especially in my moody/emotional 9 month pregnant body with a two year old who decided recently she wanted “terrible” in front of her age, “two.” I have all these worries like, “what if I go into labor early and Peter doesn’t make it to the birth?” (he’s coming the weekend I’m due, but babies come on their own timetable). My other worry is “How will Chloe handle having a new sibling?” These are two main concerns, although I have MANY, but I keep trying to reassure myself that in the end all that matters is that I have a healthy baby. I’ve had my moments, but we’re getting down to the wire now, and I can feel the Lord strengthening me.
