Our Time in California Thus Far

Here are some pictures and updates on what we‘ve been up to. When we arrived my sister-in-law Dakin was here with her kids for the weekend so it was GREAT to see them and for Chloe to have cousin time. Then Peter came for Valentine’s weekend and we had a little get away and spent a day in the city, stayed at a hotel and enjoyed our last “alone” time in a LONG time! (A HUGE thanks to John and Trudy for watching Chloe so we could make this possible).

Luckily, I don’t feel like I’m living in a strange place. The bay area is home to me and I have been able to spend time with friends, visiting parks, and enjoying what has mostly been good weather. I’m feeling good pregnancy wise, and think (HOPE) she’ll hang out in my tummy until her Daddy comes to be with us again. Wish me luck and I’ll make sure to update when our sweet angel is here…. (and no we haven’t picked out a name, and no we wouldn’t tell anyways… there needs to be some element of surprise, right?)

Chloe and Elizabeth. Oh the two of them were a hoot to watch together! If Elizabeth looked at Chloe wrong she would cry, but I think you could still call it a love-hate relationship. Chloe talked about her cousins for several days after they left and even prayed for them :) We miss you guys!
