I actually had a "go to the hospital only to be told to go home" experience. Sigh. The end of this pregnancy (start of labor) is SO different than it was with Chloe! With Chloe, I woke up (on my due date) with some really mild contractions that went away and then after dinner WHAM! I knew it was time... Here she was eight hours later.
This little girl, on the other hand, has been teasing me with very regular, yet not very painful contractions for a couple days now. I wouldn't worry so much except we were trying to keep her cookin' until Peter got here. After three hours of regular contractions today I had Peter change plans and catch a flight tonight (YAY!) I am not having this baby tonight, but I don't think she's planning to wait until her due date to come out, so we decided to get Daddy here.
Now I need to go eat spicy food and walk. Or jump on the trampoline..... I'll keep you posted!

Have you been watching American Idol? One of the big black guys' wife had her baby while he was there for Hollywood week! It was there first baby together and he missed her delivering her and he had to wait 5 days to meet her. His story has been really cool bc you can tell he is so sad and emotional not to be there for his family. But it was all worth it for him bc he made the TOP 24!! and he is a really good singer, so I hope he makes it at least to the top 10 becuase then he would get to go on tour for a whole year and maybe get a music contract with someone...Then it would be worth it for him to miss his baby girls birth.
Also, I am SO excited for you! Im glad that Peter will be there. I can't believe you did it. YOu spent almost a whole month without him, you are amazing! what a strong women! I don't think I could have done it. But here is a little tip for you! Now that Peter will be there with you your anxiety and stress level will come down...Don't let it!! bc those chemical reactions in you body help bring on contractions. So if you relax too much your baby WILL wait until her due date or may even be late! So find something else to worry about! HAHA
