Alright all fellow mothers out there.... I need your comments. I woke up this morning and decided I was ready to potty train Chloe. I guess that doesn't make her ready, but that is just another reason I need some advice!
So please, if there are any tips you have, any books you have read, things I should/shouldn't do... etc... Please let me know. We would like for this to go as smoothly as possible (who am I kidding :) Thanks!

Well, I keep thinking the same thing for Macie and I have given it a try a few times, but she won't pee on the toilet. She has pooped on there a hand full of times, but she gets really mad about it. BUT, for the rest of my kids, at this age, I would get serious and then say, "no more diapers". Then we would stay home for 3-5 days until they had it down. I would simplify my life that week too so I could focus a lot on it. It's a lot of reminding, some accidents and for me, a LOT of frustration. aren't you excited? But once Tessa & Chase were two weeks or more into it, they were great and I was so glad I did it. Hunter was my hardest because he kept having accidents months afterwards. (if I were to train him again, I would wait until he was almost 3) I have talked to other Moms who wait until closer to age 3 and they say it's not so bad. So, maybe I have been doing it wrong. It probably depends on the child. I have always read my kids books about the potty and they enjoy those, I also started noticing if they were waking up dry in their diapers before I started and I don't know if they all were, but it's just something that tells me they are getting ready. (Macie isn't doing that) Anyway, good luck!
Seriously, just read potty wise! It'll help you take a more realistic approach- thus, lessening your frustrations.
Bethany got the basics in 4 days (staying dry and clean)! She still needed my help pulling down her pants and all, but she was 22 months. My bet, Chloe could very well be ready, but read a book. I say that because I asked lots of moms for advice, but everyone does things a little different and sometimes peoples logic doesn't make sense to me. After trying other moms advice, I finally got this book. AMAZING!

Luke was great to potty train.

Zach started out well, but had accidents (especially at night) for over a year. He still has the occasional accident.
All kids are so different. Make sure she's ready before you start. The book I mention has a readiness set of tests.
Good luck and you can always call me.
I wish you lots of luck and patience. I hope Chloe is easy to train!
Sorry no good advice. Andrew was very hard to train, but once he got it, he really got it. (o: I keep thinking about starting to train Madeline soon too, but I don't think she's ready yet.
